A working studio and storefront creating handmade timeless artwork, no two pieces alike! Father and daughter collaboration, Bill and Kim Padula work in mediums of wood, silk, leather and metal.

They use recycled and natural materials locally from the foothills of Georgia but also internationally, from rescued purple heart wood in Barbados landfills to iron wood in New Mexico.

Every individual piece has a story. No One Alike is known for their array of Damascus kitchen knives, hand quilted cutting boards and marbled leather messenger bags and scarves.

We do this for pure enjoyment of providing unique hand made products from either natural or recycled materials.

Kim Padula as a toddler showed signs of a wild creative flare. From Play-doh to fabrics she made her first full sized quilt at age 12. Her natural eye for color, and her risk tolerance for pushing the boundaries of design and application, landed her a full scholarship for Art at Juniata College in central Pennsylvania. Upon graduating she has begun her career as a studio artist with specialties in fabric, clay, and paper mediums. Her current work is a modern approach to the ancient fundamentals of marbling. Kim started her own business, No One Alike, in her hometown, Columbia, South Carolina, and has since traveled the Eastern United States exhibiting and selling her work and her Father's. Her studio and storefront are now located in Clarkesville, Georgia.

Bill Padula began his fondness for working with wood in his twenties. His self taught talents evolved from hobbyist to full time cabinet maker at one point.

Today he has expanded and honed his craft beyond cabinets and furniture to include turning projects. Currently his interests are kitchen products. He is striving to combine everyday usefulness with artful expression.

Why we do what we do?

We do this for pure enjoyment of providing unique hand made products from either natural or recycled materials. No two pieces are the sameā€¦no production shop here! We keep pushing the limits of our craft to see how far we can go inspired quite often by ideas from our customers.
